Custlo – Common Setup & Installation Issues
If your Custlo app isn’t functioning as expected, or certain features are not visible on your storefront, it usually falls under one of the common setup issues outlined below. Following these steps carefully will help ensure the app works correctly both in your Shopify admin and on the storefront.
1️⃣ App Not Installed Correctly
Symptoms:
- App opens in Shopify admin, but dashboard features fail to load.
- Blank pages or unexpected errors in the app.
- Some settings not saving or syncing properly.
Possible Causes:
- Installation was incomplete.
- Shopify permissions were not fully accepted.
- Browser cache, cookies, or outdated Shopify admin version causing conflicts.
Suggested Steps:
- Uninstall the app from your Shopify store completely.
- Reinstall the app, making sure to accept all requested permissions.
- Clear browser cache and cookies, or use an incognito/private window.
- Ensure your Shopify admin is updated to the latest version.

- Shopify theme editor has the Custlo extension disabled.
- Custom theme conflicts preventing proper rendering.
